Benefits of white butter

Makhan Chor!

I've always thought that the tales about Lord Krishna being a butter thief were incredibly sweet. Whenever we talk about butter we definitely think about Krishna.

White butter can be easily made at home using cream or malai that we get from whole milk. Here are some benefits & method to make it.

Benefits of white butter:

1.Outside butter has a lot of salt which increases blood pressure level in body. So, the one main reason of having white butter is this.

2.Homemade butter is a source of fats. The latter that has trans - fats, which may result in weight gains and may harm your health in many ways as well.

3.Although both has calories, but yellow butter has empty calories, while white butter is rich in vitamin & minerals including vitamin A, E & K2. Most people get vitamin A & E from a few different food sources, including vegetables & fruits. But K2 can be a bit more difficult to come by. Vitamin K2 has a lot of health benefits that are associated with calcium intake, metabolism regulation & cardiovascular health.

4.Boost immunity : White butter has a unique molecular composition of saturated fat that helps keeps calcium, phosphorus, vitamin A & vitamin D all of which help boost your immune system.

5.Keeps your skin healthy  : White butter is excellent source of vitamin E and selenium a potent antioxidants which helps smooth your skin and keep it elastic & healthy. So now you know the secret for glowing skin.

6.Fight Infection : White butter has a potent of antifungal & antibacterial properties that can help boost your immune system & treat minor illnesses like stomach infections or flu. Now you may wonder why our mothers give a khichdi with one full dallop of ghee or white butter when you are ill.

7.Makes you smarter & sharper : The molecular structure of butter helps it pass through the layer of tissue that are otherwise impermeable, like that of brains. It helps the transportation of nutrients to the brains and takes away wastes from it making the brain function optimally.

So these were the benefits of white butter. Now let's learn the process to make butter. In every house we can find malai or cream you have store this every day in fridge, once you collect desired amount then you have to take out of fridge and let it come to room temperature. Then add a little curd or buttermilk in malai. Then after some time just blend it or can do through the hand blender. And you can see the buttermilk & butter will be separated from each other. Now you can store it in fridge for long time & can also make ghee from butter by heating it.

I usually store a little butter & make ghee from the other part of it. Because butter can be made more frequently in every 1 week

And everyday feed my son a spoon full of butter with every meal. I suggest you too to do the same and stay healthy and stay safe.

Kitchen Garden as a dream.

It's been 6 months now that I have been shifted to my new house. A house with a garden, backyard & terrace. Here in Ahmedabad farmers were using pesticides & chemicals which can hugely damage the soil & water for decades.

Because of this when we bought our new house I was very happy. Because I always dream for a kitchen garden in my house where I can grow my own vegetables & fruits. And after coming here I got such opportunity to grow fruit in my house & get it done without pesticides & chemicals.

From childhood it self I like to be near to nature. And that dream fulfilled soon after shifting here I started developing my garden slowly and gradually. And in this whole process I got to know that gardening is not a easy job it takes a lot of hard work. It takes days to germinate the seeds and then we wait for the plants to grow after that we can see flowers on them. But after seeing flowers don't get exited even after that it will take a lot of time to get a fruit.

Following is the chart which will give you a full review for growing vegetables.
